Privacy Policy

Chartr is built with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains what information the app stores, where it lives, and your choices as a user.

Information We Collect

3up3down does not collect, receive, or store any of your data on our own servers. Chartr has no user accounts and does not send your charts, rosters, or reports to us.

The following data is stored by the app on your device:

• Charts you create: pitchers, teams, opponents, dates, locations, pitch-by-pitch entries, scores, and chart notes
• Your pitch and outcome libraries and app settings (e.g. sport, chart type, filters)
• The number of free charts used, kept in iCloud Key-Value Storage and your device keychain so it carries across your devices and reinstalls on the same Apple Account
• Purchase status, cached locally to avoid unnecessary network requests

iCloud Backup & Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, Chartr uses Apple's CloudKit to back up your charts to your own private iCloud database and keep them in sync across the iPads and iPhones signed in to your Apple Account. This data is stored by Apple under your account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. 3up3down cannot see or access it. You can turn off iCloud for Chartr at any time in your device's Settings.

Player Information

Chartr stores the player names and jersey numbers you enter so it can label charts and reports. This information stays on your devices and in your private iCloud account. Please enter only what you need to coach — a first name or initials works fine.

Sharing & Exports

Chartr only shares data when you choose to. When you share a chart file, export a spreadsheet or PDF, or send a text summary to a player, the app hands that content to the iOS share sheet or Messages and you choose the recipient. Once sent, it is handled by the service you chose and the person who received it.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. Chartr does not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all transaction data.

Analytics & Tracking

Chartr does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Children's Privacy

Chartr is intended for use by coaches. It has no user accounts or social features and does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Player information entered by a coach is never transmitted to 3up3down.

Deleting Your Data

Delete a chart or pitcher inside the app to remove it from your devices and your iCloud sync. Deleting the app removes its local data; data synced to iCloud can be removed from Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
